Gawlik Assignment
Throughout this semester I have been working on numerous projects. I started with the Addams Family along with Sloan and Nick. In that film, I played Gomez, the father, and husband to Morticia. I had never really acted, not that there were any lines, but making sure to get the facial expressions did not come easy. Not only did I have to work past the awkwardness of wearing so much makeup, but capturing the look he does was not easy. Since filming has ended, I have helped Sloan with editing in hopes that I can learn something myself. As of right now, the film is basically done, but there are a few ways in which we could really nail it down. Secondly, I did sound for the fall film, although she won't admit this, I helped Sarina with editing and giving my advice when she had a problem. This took up a majority of the semester, but when she was editing I would also look through the list of films we have, and write down shots and dialogue for those. At this point, we have two other films that are planned, both of which horror films. There is also an ASL music video that we're going to do. As for our horror films, we will be filming this Thursday. As for next semester, there is one film that we have planned, but then a majority of time will be spent with my friends in that class making new films, but for now I'm going to check off the lust I have now.
